Why does it feel like our kids are always sick right now?
If your house has turned into a revolving door of sickness lately, you’re not alone.
One minute it’s a runny nose, the next it’s a cough, and suddenly it feels like a plague has wiped out the whole family. And just when you think you’re in the clear, something else pops up.
It’s so hard seeing them sick. And while we know we can’t wrap our kids in bubble wrap and keep them home 24/7, it doesn’t make this phase any easier. I guess it really is just part of the parenting journey.
If you’re a parent, you’ll understand how hard it is to even organise a simple catch-up with friends who also have little kids. Nine times out of ten, at least one household is fighting off some kind of illness.
And the craziest part? It’s not even winter yet here in Australia.
I absolutely love connecting with our Sunrise community. Hearing your stories, seeing your little ones in their favourite Sunrise the label pieces, and swapping tips about these messy, slow days. It always reminds me we’re all in this together.
Some days are chaotic, some days are sweet, but knowing we can share it with each other makes it a little bit easier 🤍
